The Bangladesh Tea Board has announced a recruitment circular for various vacant positions. This includes positions under the Bangladesh Tea Board, Bangladesh Tea Research Institute (BTRI), and Project Development Unit (PDU). A total of 48 individuals will be recruited temporarily in nine categories, ranging from the 14th to the 20th grade. Interested candidates must apply using the prescribed form.
1. Position: Surveyor
Vacancies: 2
Qualifications: Must pass SSC and have completed the final survey examination. Priority will be given to candidates with experience.
Work Location: PDU, Bangladesh Tea Board, Sreemangal, Moulvibazar
Salary Scale: 10,200–24,680 BDT (Grade-14)
2. Position: Storekeeper
Vacancies: 1
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with experience in maintaining scientific equipment, engineering goods, general store items, and other relevant materials.
Work Location: PDU, Bangladesh Tea Board, Sreemangal, Moulvibazar
Salary Scale: 10,200–24,680 BDT (Grade-14)
3. Position: Accounts Assistant
Vacancies: 3
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or HSC with a second division. Candidates with good handwriting will get preference.

Salary Scale: 9,300–22,490 BDT (Grade-16)
4. Position: Office Assistant cum Computer Operator
Vacancies: 22
Qualifications: HSC pass. Typing speed must be 15 words per minute in Bengali and 20 words per minute in English.

5. Position: Driver
Vacancies: 4
Qualifications: Must possess a valid heavy, medium, or light driving license from a government-approved institution. Experience in driving in government, autonomous, or reputable commercial institutions is required.

6. Position: Plumber
Vacancies: 1
Qualifications: Must have a vocational or trade certificate in plumbing with practical experience in water supply and sanitary works.

7. Position: Office Assistant
Vacancies: 11
Qualifications: Must have completed at least the eighth grade and be in good physical health.

8. Position: Security Guard
Vacancies: 2
Qualifications: Must have completed at least the eighth grade and be in good physical health. Preference will be given to retired personnel from the armed forces.

9. Position: Cleaner

Qualifications: Must have completed at least the eighth grade with relevant work experience and good physical health.

Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 32 years old as of May 19, 2024.

Interested candidates should download the prescribed application form from the Bangladesh Tea Board website, fill it out, and send it along with the required documents either directly or via post. Include a return envelope (size 10×4.5 inches) with a 10 BDT postal stamp and clearly mention the position and district name on the top right corner of the application envelope.
Application Fee:
- For positions 1–6: 100 BDT
- For positions 7–9: 50 BDT
The fee should be paid via a non-refundable bank draft/pay order in favor of the Secretary, Bangladesh Tea Board, Chattogram. The bank draft/pay order number, date, and issuing branch must be mentioned in the application form.
