The Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM), a national institution established to expand theoretical and practical knowledge of the capital market, is seeking applications for the position of Executive President. The deadline for applications is tomorrow, Monday. The position will be full-time, appointed through direct recruitment, deputation, contract, or lien. Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Banking & Insurance, Management, Business Studies, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, International Relations, Governance & Public Policy, Economics, Statistics, or Law from a government-approved university.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D., FCA, FCMA, or CFA degrees.
• A minimum of 20 years of professional experience is required.
• Candidates must possess advanced knowledge of ICT, analytical skills, leadership qualities, and strong management & administrative capabilities.
• A clear understanding of Bangladesh’s economy, capital market, and financial sector is necessary.
• Candidates must have excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Experience in designing and conducting professional training programs in capital markets will be considered an added advantage.
• Candidates must not have any third division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA at any academic level.
• Experience as a trainer/researcher at a recognized training/research institute, a university professor, or at least a Joint Secretary in a government ministry/department/agency is required.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 55 years.

Employment Type:

• For direct recruitment, there will be a two-year probationary period.
• For contract-based recruitment, the initial contract duration will be three years, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Salary & Benefits:

• Initial monthly basic salary: BDT 175,000.
• Two festival bonuses (equivalent to basic salary) per year.
• Bengali New Year bonus as per regulations.
• A fully serviced vehicle with a driver and fuel allowance.
